This year, the classic backcountry race has been transformed into a family-friendly festival at the Maitai Recreation Hub, featuring new course options and a faster, resurfaced descent that's thrilling for all skill levels.

GBMTBC proudly brings you this ‘Warm’ winter event. This is always heaps of fun for all ages and a great social event for the club. Come join in have a ride, have some Kai & most of all have a laugh. Dress up optional & encouraged.

Each month we focus on different areas that require some maintenance or reworking throughout our trail network. Beer and BBQ afterwards.

Shuttle over to Flora Saddle and to ride back to Upper Takaka via Barrons Flat.  This is a Grade 4 back country ride which will take 4-6 hours (depending on stops).

Xmas members doo: Shuttles on the Pikikirunga track with pot luck for after.

Meet at the Totara Tree Car park ready to go @ 12pm, The Club will have someone on site with a plan each Sunday.
